Big boy is about 33. that is it for him. he tried valiantly but lost his form in the last 20 meters or so. IMO he should have gone out a bit harder. We needed Antonio Watson to get it together so we have a legitimate medal threat at the next olympics.
In regards to Nikesha Pryce, she was in better form last year but for whatever reason performed poorly at the olympics. She will have the same problem as the 400 men hurdlers (the best in history are running NOW)
how do you beat Sydney and Paulino? Warholm, Rai Benjamin and De los Santos? too lazy to google but i think the 5 fastest men over the hurdles are all active.

On the same topic somewhat, 'Greatness is Greatness.'' But i think Glen Mills may have to do some 're-examination' regarding men 400m runners training.
Both Gonzales and Antonio started out bright and fade via injury. In 'One Bob's' case there's lots a time to fine tune any corrections. Mill's interview on TVJ re how he
restructured Seville's training to match his health condition was insightful. He's a genius so he must see the 400 situation.

2 things. Gonzalez never won anything on the world level and arrived at Racer's injured. Bolt mentioned how a number if the athletes would arrive with serious injuries. Antonio was WC in 2023. He got hurt in 2024 and ran 44.85 THIS year. Analysts believe he crashed out due to RING RUST with only 3 400s this year.

Remember, Bolt went to racers as a 200/400 runner, he states he was too lazy to take on the required workload hence his constant request to Mills to run the 100. Mills challenged him to run a certain time and by his 2nd run WR bruk. I think .ills can tweak his 400m regimen to reduce imjury risksand still get result. No Yard coach including Bert Cameron seem able to train 400m men to consistently good performances. Let's see with Watson

i don't mean to be a negative nancy.....but allyuh feel this chick legit........nobody thinks marita koch's record was unaided but sydney just came with point .18 seconds of it.....against seasoned 400m flat runners, two of which were past olympic and/or world champions. i just find that suspicious in addition to legitimate concerns about her coach
