Gerry Murray died in his sleep overnight

This great at several levels will surely be missed at my beloved club, Real Mona.
Gerry has been ailing for a while.
This one hurts big time.

It seems as if everyday some one is dying that I either know or know of. RIP to one of the icon Murray brothers. I Think he would have played with Chicken Mason and Skill Cole at Real Mona

Indeed.
As I said to a good friend earlier it’s one and two a week these days.

I can hear Jerry on the sidelines as a youngster headed the ball out of play “Very high standard” - makes me smile. He and wifey were Mona dam regulars as well.

I spent a lot of time at Buttercup Park.
