More than a few umpires do not function well under lights. They do not see clear edges and miss more than a new laws.
Fielders also have problems taking catches.

Most importantly how do batsmen perform under lights...more misses, more bowled and LBWs, more edges, less 4 and 6s?
Do batsmen see better than umpires on de pitch?

"there are none so blind as those who will not see"

That should be on that Guyanese umpire's back

How many other wrong decisions did he make?
Was he targeting Captain Poo?

I find it dangerous to question the integrity of an Umpire when it comes to a LBW decision.I remember an LBW decision against Sarwan in Australia who he had a half-century under his belt.
I think an Umpire calling Curtly Ambrose in Trinidad for throwing is far more problematic than anything that transpired a couple nights ago.

It might be more than eyesight, it the ambience.....yelling crowds, music , fierce competition between teams....at times gets better on the umpires...
While operating in regionals...no crowd, empty stadiums....
Experience umpires , international....at times makes horrendous decisions....South African 3rd umpire...

There are lights then there are lights

Are the lights in the Caribbean bright enough, high enough ?

Tahir to Tymal Mills, no run, a big appeal for LBW and Tahir is left ranting, but they've used up their reviews and can't complain now - a loopy leg-break outside off, Mills had backed away on the drive and the ball went through, was there a tiny edge? We'll need UltraEdge to confirm - yes, a spike when the ball was next to the bat

Was this Banwaree too?

I am surprised Tahir did not rush up and ambush the ump as he was already running off for his fave celebration smile
