The WI team to hold a six-day camp in Ahmedabad

The West Indies team will hold a six-day camp in Ahmedabad ahead of the two-Test series against India.

According to information shared with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and the Gujarat Cricket Association (GCA) by Cricket West Indies (CWI), the visitors will train in Ahmedabad from September 24 to 29, before beginning their final preparations for the opening Test.

The first Test is scheduled to start on October 2 at the Narendra Modi Stadium.

West Indies squad:
Roston Chase (Captain), Jomel Warrican (Vice-Captain), Kevlon Anderson, Alick Athanaze, John Campbell, Tagenarine Chanderpaul, Justin Greaves, Shai Hope, Tevin Imlach, Alzarri Joseph, Shamar Joseph, Brandon King, Anderson Phillip, Khary Pierre and Jayden Seales.

Two tests against India...then West Indies hop in Bangladesh for 3 ODI and 3 T-20.....ODI series most important.... Bangladesh just behind West Indies....West Indies plays 18 ODIs before cut off for auto qualification.. reasons Holder and few others not included in test squad...rather play competitive white ball.....

Yes it should be......but desperate time demands difficult call.....
Test championship is out of reach....
Two consecutive times missing out ODI World Cup.... it's doom West Indies Cricket....
