the 80s probably....and the west indies were winning then so people could let it slide. nobody in trinidad boycotted a game when lara never played with one IVA Richards. The west indies have plummeted to unprecedented depths now, and tbh it was on the wall as son as holder's sides had dudes averaging 25 with the bat and others averaging 45 with ball. but even then, nobody got bowled out for 27. In my opinion, the best era off wi cricket in the post 95 era was the era of one, Mr Christopher Henry Gayle OD. the last man to get a west indian side to fight as a unit and the results bear that out. Bravo got it as well but he only had the odi job for less than a year. The fatal sin of west indies cricket was his removal and the destruction of the careers of dwayne bravo, ramnarsh sarwan, brendan nash. that sentence WI cricket to oblivion. Yuh eh see gayle appears to not want to have anything to do with WI cricket and neither does bravo, at least certainly not while the structure that appointed sammy and holder is still there.
