No
A few years ago, maybe 8 or 9 ago, we had better players and the golden generations were in full flight, along with better international players.

yeah. cpl have a serious issue after men like pollard, narine, dre rus, charles and co retire. pooran and hope will be left to carry the league and only pooran is a frequent butcher of bowling in this format

Every year has been different, different high points and different low points.

What do you mean by best CPL?

I view this as an excellent CPL, because the level of fan interest has really grown and matured when it comes to the franchise system. Fans are now supportive of franchises that may not be from their country. In that respect, I think this has been the best so far.

de only place i noticed that happened was in guyana and only in games involving tkr where they backed their opposition. i doh really call that maturity. the only other time i noticed this was in 2013-2015 when they pillaged the red force to give players to the other franchises and trinidadians were genuinely upset. I remember going to the barbados game in the oval in 2015, this time barbados team have pollard, emrit and rapaul, were on top of the table and red steel needed to win to have any play off hopes of making the playoffs. they'd just gotten cow lashed by KP when st lucia beat us in QPO a few days earlier. there was an entire section on scotia bank/ bg with only trinis supporting barbados. they were fed up of not having their best players. as i said, i doh really call that maturity

CPL has come a long way...like I said, this year fans seem to have embraced the franchise system more than before...even though not fully

dude im just telling you that doesn't align with facts. if insularity is still the biggest problem facing WI cricket, yuh think CPL going to solve that,. I'm not bitter, people are free to support who they want

You are bitter...always complaining about some past "injustice" to T & T

I did not say CPL will solve insularity...I said people have become more used to the franchise system, and learning to support different teams. Franchise teams. I watched all the games even though I am a fan of the Warriors. I found myself pulling for teams like ST Kitts.

Maybe yuh vex cause Knightriders don't have a lots of fans in Caribbean outside of T & T, I sure they have other fans that are not in the Caribbean. I saw a number of Guyanese who say they support TKR...except when they play GAW

I am speaking of the contest. No beating stick as previous seasons. If the spray was introduced earlier, who to tell.

Insularity is at the West Indies level, people advocating for their piece a crap over others.
