Bro!!

Every game in this tournament Sheppy bowling getting beaten like a red headed step child and they gaan and give he the second over to bowl just after Pretorius bowled a great first over, knowing they only have 130 to defend, and knowing that the wicket taking turn and the ball is holding up.

That over basically gave the Battyriders the game.

yep...my wife said she initially saw that the ball might be given to Mooen
Shep always have issues in the PP, don't know why they think this time he will not

When yuh depending on the other team to lose so you can win, you almost don't deserve that wild card spot. lol

Any one of their spinners should have bowled that second over but I agree Moeen should have been it because the lefty Munro was on strike.

As for Sheppy. I don't know what this GAW management and coaching staff see in his bowling that warrants so much trust and confidence in him bowling in the PP and in the death overs.

He's a guy who you bring on only if the conditions suit medium pace or you need to fill in an over or two in the middle of the innings. His bowling has been utterly atrocious for years now.

Sheppy is a good honest cricketer...but he's a bit of a runs truck indeed.

Don.

Agreed 100%.

Agreed 100%. The only people who disagree on this point are the GAW management, coaching staff, and captain.

i've been saying this for years. i remember the super 50 final in 2021, an old trinidad red force team battered guyana, with an old lendl simmons in particular punishing romario severely. He went for 105 runs in 10 overs. and i mention the old part because many of these same players went to the uae for the world cup and struggled badly. shepherd needs to decide what sort of bowler he wants to be.......he can bowl 140kph so if that is your strongest suit, by all means use it. trying to balance between fast medium swingers and pace is a recipe for disaster. and we've seen how effective genuinely fast bowling has been in this tournament
