Squad Update

Alzarri Joseph has been ruled out of the upcoming test series against India due to a lower back injury.

After complaints of discomfort, scans revealed a degeneration of the previously resolved lower back injury.

Meanwhile, Jediah Blades who has been capped in One Day Internationals and T20 Internationals has been drafted in as cover for the two tests following the ongoing series against Nepal.

Jason Holder declined selection as Joseph’s replacement for the series citing a planned medical procedure.

blades cant out my dead grandmother. another one of the slowpokes barbados specializes in producing these days. if jofra had stayed there, he'd have been a line and length slowpoke as well

To be fair, Thorne isn't playing much cricket these days.

I think he should be in the Academy setup instead of warming the bench for Guyana.

Add to that Jason Holder gets his opportunity and cannot make it due to a planned medical procedure. Anderson Philip will partner Seales.

Blades is not ready. Sorry. This is really disappointing that our best chance of making an impression has disappeared. I only hope they do not overbowl Jayden as he has to be fit for NZ.
