Tage and Athanaze selected but what about McKenzie?

How comes Tage and Athanaze can get selected after their poor performances and failures but Kirk McKenzie who shouldered the batting against the best test team in the world cannot get back after his failures? Another example of CWI failing young players.

Slips is faithful to his position that McKenzie deserves to play for WI. Unfortunately, I dont even think that McKenzie supports his position
