@Onionman0

Look at his action,his age and the built..He will get quicker and surely better. That's how I see it.

@Onionman0

They need to add Akeem to the XI.. ASAP. He's rapid!

Kinda surprise you didn't mention anything about Seales as yet...

typical bajan slowpoke. RTN andd Holder syndrome is endemic in bajan cricket
Fri, Oct 3, '25 at 9:17 AM
All we getting from the Bajans these days is slow bowlers in a hurry

Layne right now could not buy a wicket

But i guess when you is a bajan standards doh matter

Not saying he will not get quicker but why not wait until then to select him?

He's neither fit enough nor ready for test cricket. Blame the fool who's force ripening him! 1 left arm pacer two SLA bowlers of little or no effect, they wanna kill Seales. What do they know of cricket....

@jamcricket

I guess it's possible he will get quicker. But he's 22 and so I'm not sure how much quicker he will get. He's a decent bowler at regional level but the one I really like is Pitman. Much more pace and decent swing. Probably more wayward at times but he looks like he could improve somewhat and become a pretty dangerous bowler

Yes Kelvin is one to watch for real. Surprised he was not selected for the CPL as he has played for the Tallawahs.

Allyuh fellas not easy nah.

Dis is de yute first outing in test cricket. On a wicket that offering zero assistance.

Already man saying he no good, cyah cut it etc.

Jeezas

This is NOT his fault. This is the management team in India putting him in a position to FAIL!

Pisses me off!

@spider

When Pitman played for thr Jamaica franchise in the CPL his pace was mid 125-130s.... not sure how that is quicker than Layne.

I'm sure if he gets a chance on a deck like this most here will start attacking him just like they are doing to young Layne. Who in my opinion will be one of the leading pacers in the region... if he lives up to his potential.

Maybe he wasn't bowling quickly that day but I tried to watch him every chance I get and he seems to have some pace. He is certainly quicker than Layne and I think considerably more dangerous when bowling well. He is even listed as right-arm fast while Laybe is listed as medium fast. that might not mean a whole lot but I think it kinda accurate.

You guys are being harsh. Even debutant from Australia will struggle. Anderson got walloped by jaiswal 3 back to back sixes .
