UR clueless!!!

The reason Hope is in the team as wicketkeeper batsman is so he can fail with the bat for a longer time than if he is playing as a batsman
This is part of Sammy’s duplicity. From 25 test matches since 2018 in 47 completed innings Hope has scored 870 runs for an average of 18.51. His 2 fifties since then were 67 and 57. You want him as a top 4 batter???
Imagine they put Anderson to open the batting on test debut when he had never opened for Berbice and the great Shai Hope hiding down the order!!!!
Sammy is a joke akin to a 3 dollar bill!!!
He can fool allyuh

Shai Hope scored the immortal vs England so he has pedigree. This was achieved when he was Batsman. The fact that you mention one shot Brandon over Hope who has actually accomplished something in some form of cricket shows you how clueless you are. If Brandon king cannot average 30 in ODIs, you all expect him to do better in TESTS where they are attacking fielders everywhere.????? At least Hope averages 50 in ODIS!

and you make this assessment based on one test lol

no i don't. hope's bat comes from an angle, its never straight. in odis, you doh have three slips and a gully in today's odis. you look at many of his hundreds and you see one slip. in addition to that, fielding restrictions make a body line barrage unattractive and impractical, and we all know shai hope has chronic short ball problems

What an idiotic response. Do you actually believe what you just typed?? Silly me I thought that the reason they would want Hope as wicketkeeper so they can bat him in the top 6 and play the extra bowler. What do i know??? I am clueless.

You made Brandon King's assessment based on one knock vs Oz??? Man go siddung with your foolishness.

@voiceofreason

i said brandon king has potential....he is new to test cricket not 42 test matches in like hope

Potential based on what >> He averages 32.97 in FC. 27.69 in ODIS. You mean his pretty coverdrive shot? Or his one knock vs OZ?

So Brandon who has 27 .69 ave in ODIS should fare better in Test cricket with three slips and a gully.

Before the Australian series this year, Shai Hope played 38 test matches and was wicketkeeper in 2 tests when Dowrich was injured.
2 out of 38 and now with Sammy he is 4 out of 4

Lemme ask you this
Do you think Hope is a better wicketkeeper than Imlach?
Do you think Hope is a better wicketkeeper than Bowen-Tuckett???
If Hope is such a big bat with numerous ODI centuries as an opener why did they put a test debutant who had never opened in a red ball game to do so with a pink ball against Starc??
When you can explain that piece of fcukery I will eat my hat
Sammy is a waste of time

odi average has very little to do with tests. there are players like shai who had high odi averages and were absolute crap in tests. michael bevan was the best odi player of the mid 90s and early 2000s, averaging over 50 when both lara and tendulkar were averaging in the 40s.....yet bevan only averages 29 in tests, and australia rightfully ended the experiment after 18 tests. brandon king is 4 tests in in the weakest west indies team since WWII(YES that includes Holder's scouts). the jury is still out. four tests is not an adequate sample

Your hypocrisy and ridiculousness knows no bounds. I would ask you to pick one, however, I am not sure you are capable. Just the same, let me state this.

1. When your idol, the cricketing leach took over from Coley, he promised to bring the whiteball players back into the Test arena. Who did he reach for? Hope, KING and Pooran who, wisely, turned him down.

2. Now I ask you to ask your idol - - "if Brandon King cannot average 30 in ODIs, master do you expect him to do better in TESTS"? You are either a hypocrite or your idol is stupid OR both.

3. Jumpy didn't pick King, your idol did.

They should not interfere with the11, after just 1 game, the batting lineup should be shuffled,King, is stuck inT20 mode, he should bat just ahead of the bowlers.

Which he did most of them.

Not because I defend Sammy vigorously I agree with everything he has done. I never agreed with the Brandon pick as he has done nothing substantial in any format. Sammy picked him based on his potential which he is yet to fulfil on any level. I disagree with the pick.

Brandon King is a poor Man's Samuels and that says a lot about his quality.
