Delusional talent..Julien by Faz

This is shameless and selfish.

When I heard of Bernard Julien’s passing yesterday morning, my first reaction was relief…at having something to focus this column on.It has become a struggle to find different angles from which to approach the same issue: the chronic failure to make the most of indigenous potential in sport, and by extension almost every other sphere of public endeavour.

Julien was such a flashy and flamboyant person...full of life in youthful days...I remember one year he pasted blue notes ($100 bills) all over his car somewhere in carenage....he had just returned from Packer or RSA [rebel tour]

This is the same TNT that want to go it alone? Best chance to make the Worldcup in 20 years, look like a daunting task vs Curacao, Bermuda and of course Jamaica. Then your Netballers lose by 90??
