40yrs of weird decisions.
Right after 70 in Oz Robert Samuels discarded with about 37avg.
After about 4 inngs Leon Johnson finally came to terms with Morkel n co. but was discarded.
They chose this test (Good Wkt) to leave out the1 man with a 50+ score over last 10 innings.
Josh n Hodge are at home. How can talent/potential fully develop?

The WI performance in the 1st Test could be blamed on the lack of warm-up matches, in the WI glory days they always played warm-up matches It is amazing numbers that in Hope's forty plus Test it is only the eight time he has pass 50 runs in an inning, In Campbell's 25th Test it is only the 4th time he has pass fifty.

They had 9 days in India that should have been enough time for one or two warmup matches. Our prep for these big series is questionable. Will we get it right in NZD?

DaSilva cannot make this team as a keeper anymore. Imlach will have the gloves as long as he can average in the mid-20s or so. DaSilva's only way back is as a batsman.

Why not give credit to the players themselves when they do well? Viv and Lara have been around for the past two to four decades counseling players formally and informally. Campbell's problem has always been momentary lapses of concentration that usually resulted in gifting his wicket after getting starts. Maybe he is finally maturing ...
By the way, what happened to all the people who were heaping praise on Ravi for the bowling performances during the Australia series?
