When there's no cloud cover nor extra grass in Leeds, Headingly by the last session of the 2nd day batting is much easier. Almost 1500 runs/35 wkts. were scored in that test. Even Kraigg was scoring at over 50sr. Sure Hope deserved credit for being the most outstanding batsman. But, the usual challenges that led to his past demise were missing. Remember when Gayle hit 6x4 in an opening over? By ball 3 Botham indicated "there's no movement" not through air or off pitch. When that happens in Pomland batting is easy. I make objective criticism bro.

ok, but most batsmen adore batting in the condition that you described that Hope batted on when he scored the twin tons and struggled on tricky track except the great players. Hope and Campbell played well on a decent track which occasional kept low.
