Kemar Roach was seen in tip-top shape in the nets at Kensington Oval on Tuesday looking fit and ready for a return to the big stage. The 37-year-old with 284 wickets in an illustrious 85-match Test career, was spotted bowling at full speed in the nets alongside Barbados-born England players Jofra Archer and Chris Jordan. They joined the Barbados Pride players as they continued intense preparations for the upcoming Super50 List A tournament in Trinidad.
Roach’s unexpected presence has fueled speculation that he is in line for a call-up for the West Indies upcoming tour of New Zealand where the Windies will face the Black Caps in three Test matches in December in Christ Church, Wellington and Mount Maunganui. Archer meanwhile is working in the build-up for the upcoming blockbuster Ashes as England take on Australia.

So that’s the equivalent of a faster ball from Gudakesh Motie

Was Kemar Maple quickest speedster?
Now we know never mess with a Mapleike.
All that is needed is Fuzzy to be at the other end.

Not sure why Roach wasting his time... he could practice all he wants in the nets.. that's where he will remain.
He didn't get the memo? Next in line are Gaston and Big Oshana... only SLK players will be making the WI from now on. 😀

Yes, and maybe one of the quickest in the WI setup, as a 18-year-old at the 2006 WC he was clocking 90 plus.

I still can’t understand why both Roach and Holder were not included in the team that faced Australia and toured India. I do not have a problem with the young bowlers but we already have the two Joseph’s and Seales that all young. So why leave out Roach with 285 test wickets and Holder with 162 test wickets, eight 5 wicket hauls, three test centuries that includes a double and has a better batting average than everyone on the team . Sammy has destroyed our cricket to the point that we don’t play to win now neither are we building for the future. Sammy is our biggest problem and until he is sacked we wii keep going in circles

This thread mostly focuses on Kemar; I want to focus on the preparation of the three players mentioned.
Jordan, Archer and Roach.
Practice, practice, practice
Charlie used to spend 4 hours every Sunday morning at Pebbles; his focus was on moving the ball away from the ocean.
Peter Lashley would have his net session and 2 hours with his bowling group.
It takes hours to correct flaws; this is what the greats did and continue to do.
I have no problem with youngsters focusing on T20 cricket only; I dislike seeing them in a position where they are not prepared
None of our youngsters are ready for Whiteball cricket., The player I see working in the format is Hosein

The stone that the joker refused?
How can you ensure Russell a farewell in front of "home crowd" but unceremoniously discard Kemar? Hope they are forcred to pick him.

Jordan, Archer and Roach, Salt, Hayley, Bethell
Those names give musician and jumpy nightmares. They insist Bim don't produce world class players anymore.😆
