This boy average 33 with bat and 29 with ball in Red ball F.C.

Played well in Australia and Pakistan...both away series...

Just 25 years old...

Should be in West Indies set up....all formats....

@Brerzerk

@methodic

Jamal Smith...the so called Talent Scout...Dataman Seetaram...Sammy.. can't find any talent in this guy...rather chose Chase, batting average same as Sinclair @33....but bowling @ 34...

Any talent should be harness....but insularity, bais & idiocy....then cry MONEY

Roston Chase is 27’s pick and no one shall even be put in a position to challenge Chase’s place in any WI team as long as 27 is in charge.

Kevin Sinclair also reportedly has disciplinary issues. anthonyp can provide further details on that.

According to reports, Sinclair has an abrasive personality, so that works against him, not the easiest to be around.

the same question could be asked of Silva. It would be fascinating to find out what happened during that captaincy interview which appears to have led him into the wilderness despite his performances as TT captain and his batting in the FC competition and his history as A Team captain. Has any explanation ever been offered by management?

@imusic

Not sure why people fighting down for Kevin Sinclair... de dude needs to sort himself out.

That being said, he's not better than Chase.. especially when it comes to bowling. And I am not a Chase fan.

Junior Sinclair (his cousin) is a far better off spinner. You're clearly seeing it in the inter-county tournament. His competitors Junior and Looknauth are currently the joint leaders with most wickets in the tournament to date.

@Onionman0

And what about Anderson? dropped from the Test squad for the NZ test? after not getting an opportunity since that debut vs Australia

Tue, Oct 28, '25 at 12:37 PM

@sillypoint

probably bc he not not cooking yet

the same with louis, great FC numbers but the weaknesses that were not fixed become a major problem in the international circuit.

if these guys truly are talented then they'll fix the weaknesses and come back, they got a taste of the highest level and should know what went wrong

But they are both still young and have the eye of the selectors, its on them to prove they can come back

Anybody that saw sinclair bowl knows his bowling needs considerable work he is as inocuous as pierre might be more but i think he has more potential wth the bat

@velo

i agree. Spinners (other than the true greats like Warne, Murali, Swann etc) seem to need more time to mature than quicks. To me, Holder from Barbados and Dember from the Windwards have the most possible upside as off spinners in the region. I have not seen enough of Junior Sinclair bowling but I know that he is an excellent fieldsman and certainly if he has some bowling talent he should be encouraged and developed. Kevin looks fairly pedestrian as a bowler but of course it can just be because he bowls probably even less than Motie for Guyana. the Guyanese captains just have the belief that they throw the ball to Permaul and he bowls incessantly. It is the same in Leewards where Cornwall gets the ball and Walsh does not get to bowl. Weird!!!!

@sillypoint

The test team was announced?

Which Holder is this? Has he played for Barbados?

Those 2 better than, and have more upside than Cornwall and Bryan Charles?

@Onionman0

Sinclair is an ok cricketer, but he seems to be a high strung individual and does not appear to work hard enough at his game, he is picked to bowl off spin, he is not even a 3rd division off spinner
