yes rain

It's raining in Napier at present.
 Looks like the start of the game in all likelihood will get delayed.

14:00 Local Time, 01:00 GMT, 06:30 IST:
There's some good news coming in! The rain has stopped. The ground staff have taken the bigger cover off the square. There's more rain in the radar though but let's hope it stays away. The Super Sopper is doing its round across the ground. Stay tuned for more updates...

14:35 Local Time, 01:35 GMT, 07:05 IST: Unfortunately, the rain is back and so are the covers! The on-air commentators mentioned that the toss was set to happen at 3pm local time but that doesn't look likely now. Stay tuned for more updates...

@Chrissy

There's a persistent drizzle hanging around the ground. A slightly bigger cover has been laid as well as there's a band of rain passing through. Just to inform you guys - the cut-off time for a 20-over match to start is 7:10pm local time. So, there's still a good amount of time to play with.

16:10 Local Time, 03:10 GMT, 08:40 IST: There's still a bit of drizzle in the air but it certainly seems to have lightened up. There's lots of movement from the ground staff near the pitch and they are getting into position to take the big cover off so that's indeed a positive sign. The Super Sopper continues to do its bit across the field of play. Hopefully, we will have better news for our next update...
