Both Anderson and Antanaze made tons against 2nd tier youth teams, the only player that I can recall who made wc ton against top tier was Pooran.

I have a feeling attitude has a lot to do with it, in the case of Anderson and Sinclair, I might be wrong, I think Anderson must be among the top 5 middle order batsmen in WI, even though he has not proven it at the highest level as yet

WI cricket is not better than any associate team... so what's wrong with them fellas scoring tons against associates? Weren't those teams good enough to make the WC?

.Bunnuh, he did not make any runs against a top tier team in the Wc, that is a mark of a good player. Just like many here often said Viv ddid not play against Zim, bang or Ireland when comparing present day players to Viv's record.

He actually scored 86* vs England U19 in the same world cup. Even finished with a 40+ average and the second highest runs scorer for WI in the tournament.

Not bad for someone who can't bat according to some on this post.
