During the last match I logged on, after being absent for years. I looked at team Worthlessness and decided to solicit Devine attention on their behalf. I said " Lord, in these end times there are so many pressing matters, I hate to disturb you with trivial matters, but you are the God of the universe and that includes the trivialities."
Hope was on 129 and Greaves was on 65. I prayed for each batsman to make 70 runs before losing their wicket. I heard the voice clear as day in my head. It said " The nay sayers will say, the batsmen were well set, and the pitch flattened out, what did Devine had to do with it?. But if two wickets fell, and your in to the tail, and all the ambiguity and marginal calls go in West Indies favor, you will know there was Devine intervention. When has the majority of marginal calls favored the tribe? You will know, and the next match will revert to normal.
I wanted to post my testimony before the match started, but I was on the road. A quick preview has revealed we are back to normal programming. From memory, I know many on here don't believe in God, because the word of God is foolishness to those who perish.

@Chrissy
good opening session my side
lunch
Campbell 44*
To be honest, if I was picking the team, I would have dropped Campbell. Too often he loses his wicket with less than 20 runs on the board, and one wicket brings two. I am glad to see he has proven me wrong.

Michael Rae to John Campbell, out Caught by Mitchell!! Oh boy! Michael Rae is chuffed to bits. John Campbell hit him for 3 boundaries in an over before lunch and no wonder he is thrilled. It's his maiden wicket in international cricket as well. The plan to bowl from round the wicket certainly worked. Pushes it full at 135ks just outside off

Foulkes to Shai Hope, FOUR, dug in short and Hope has all the time in the world to swivel back and control the pull to the right of the fielder at square leg

Michael Rae to Roston Chase, 1 run, inside edge once again! On and around off at 141ks, Chase gets off the mark with a tentative push to square leg

Michael Rae to Shai Hope, FOUR, crunched! 139ks sits up in the channel outside off, Hope pings the punchy drive off the meat of the bat and sends it racing through backward point to his right

Michael Rae to Shai Hope, no run, appeal for strangle down leg, but NZ not interested in the review. Off the thigh pad. Wobbles in with extra bounce off the seam, Hope misses the tickle and it goes off the thigh guard to the left of the keeper. UltraEdge confirms the same as well...

Michael Rae to Shai Hope, 1 run, smacks him on the helmet badge this time. The short ball has got Hope dancing and hooping. He tried to take it on with a pull, but the ball rose sharply and deflected into the leg-side off the helmet. No bat involved, but given as runs...The physio is out once again for the concussion check.
