U Should know in Test Cricket it's not all about a breezy 50 like donkey whom scores 25 in 3 overs and head back to dough-out .. Opener have to occupy the crease for a lengthy period to wear bowlers down so the 3, 4. 5 etc can attack the bowlers,,,

King is more suited for later in the order where he can play his game in being aggressive. he doesn’t have the skills and temperament to open in test cricket.
