Struggling on flat wickets....jeez.
IMLACH CANNOT BAT
@Jumpstart
I know right if only he could score a century and average 24 he would be great oh well bring back Josh 🫠
I would say, Imlach has a difficult time scoring at the Test level, he needs more scoring shots, however because he is very good behind the stumps he should be given more time.
@dayne
i agree. and i wouldn't drop him. athanaze, definitely and certainly roston.
he looked more comfortable against the spin in the first innings but yeah he really looked at sea batting
Is this the same Imlach some were calling to be in the XI as a batsman? The unpicked is always the next star.
My British-Guyneez-Jewmaycan cousin isnt impressed...btw, he has the same sentiments for Hetty.
@Jumpstart
He need more experience at test level. A good learning curve for him will be playing home against a touring team
@natty_forever
More local cricket is good, but He has done well at FC level… We don’t have good pace/swing bowlers at home that’s why our batsmen struggle against good swing bowlers on tour
@natty_forever
Got better as the series went on.
When your average is around 6 runs, you have no where to go but up.
@Cricket_101
i doh know about that but he's a decent gloveman. its telling that he can't even make runs when he comes in at decent positions. but the prtoblem, as i stated does not start with him. there are players in this team who did nothing in the four day tournament and are here and seem undropable. your two highest run scorers in that tournament are not in the side, with the top scorer stating that darren sammy told him that they're trying to rebuild a team and his age didn't fit into the equation.
