@dayne

The WI performed better than was expected for realistic fans, they took two Test matches into the 5th day last session. The pitch really broke up on the last day of the 3rd Test, a question could be asked if they missed an opportunity to play Warrican in the last Test.

Not just realistic, but unbiased fans who are not anti-Sammy!

Warrican was worth a try but the Elephant in the room is Chase who bats at 7 and is not an established bowler. Chase needs to resign.

Secondly if you told me before this series that West Indies would post a record 457/6 and hold on for a draw on the 5th day I would of said you were delusional. Then to top it off to take the game into the 5th day without your best batsman I would have said the same.

Finally, Brandon King, Shai Hope both white ball specialists have looked good this tour. Early days still but if they keep putting up the numbers, Sammy will be vindicated!

  1. When King does well, sammy will be vindicated.
  2. When King does poorly, he is a poor man's Marlon Samuels.
  3. The hypocrite has AGAIN tied up himself.
  4. Have you found out the difference between a fact and a conjecture as yet?

@voiceofreason

that is very true but Silva still averaged miles about Athanaze and Hodge and so deserved a call up before either of them. Otherwise, what is the purpose of the FC season. Similarly, Anderson got one chance while he has batted more consistently then anyone else in the past couple FC seasons. If the intention is to pick players on perceived (but unrealised) potential rather than on performance, the Coach should just say so. I am sure everyone has better things to do than to spend several days in the hot sun playing FC cricket when they could just send in a tiktok to the coach to get a pick.
