Bethell and Archer are not West Indians, Both have indicated this from early. Even though born in Barbados, they are clearly not interested in representing us, these guys are Englishmen representing England and. They should never be the topic of our conversation nor should any West Indian ever beg them to play for us

I agree with the commentators. It is disrespectful of them to ask a man who has publicly indicated his retirement to return. it comes off as if they believe the man was not serious.
It is also demeaning for them to beg a man who says I am not interested to come back.
Shameful. I really had high hopes for Shallow and his team but I have now realised that they are really nothing more than a bunch of headless chickens. Begging Lloyd for help. Begging Lara for help. Begging Pooran to come back. Waiting until the last moment to beg Pollard, Bravo etc for help. it is like they woke up on New Year's day and realised there is a world cup coming up. It is like they plan nothing. Only react when under pressure.
If this is an example of Caribbean leadership, Woe to us.
