Venue: Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai

What to expect: Four matches have been played at the Wankhede stadium in this World Cup and yet a 200-plus total has remained elusive, which goes against the usual high-scoring reputation of the venue. West Indies' 196 is the highest total at this ground, while Nepal came within four runs of England's 184. Even India didn't find it easy against the USA, finishing with 161, which they then defended comfortably. Spinners have found some assistance, and this being the first 11 AM start at this ground, pacers could also come into play early.

What they said:
"It's a World Cup. Any team in this tournament can beat any other one on a day. So we've got to ensure we're still executing the way we need to. The planning must be there once again, not taking anyone lightly. We understand the importance of every single game, even though we gave ourselves a nice position to be in, but still we've got to ensure we plan it the same way, we execute it the same way against Nepal" - Shai Hope, West Indies captain.

"I thought as a team we are growing and to see the England highs and then suddenly not turning up in today's game, I thought that was a little disappointing. A team growing like a team like us, we need to be more consistent and today was the day to prove that" - Rohit Paudel, Nepal captain, after the defeat to Italy.

West Indies have won the toss and have opted to field

Shai Hope: We are going to bowl first. Looks like there's a bit of moisture on the surface. We just need to do the same thing. Romario goes out with a niggle, Forde comes in.
Rohit Paudel: We would have bowled first. We did well in the first six overs, we struggled in the middle overs. Sompal Kami comes in.

Pitch Report | Samuel Badree and Preston Mommsen: "It's pretty warm out in the middle, the sun just above my right shoulder. It will get increasingly warmer as we go through this contest, especially with an 11AM start. Where are we situated in this in terms of the surface? Well, if you're bowling from the press box end, it's 68 meters across to my left, 61 meters across to my right, and 74 meters straight back over the bowler's head. What we've seen so far up from this venue is that the spinners have enjoyed it. It's the best venue for spinners, but also it's the best venue for a six-hitting. It's an interesting-looking surface. Very different to what we've seen in previous fixtures here at this World Cup, where spin has been so conducive. If we take a look and have a feel of the surface, we can actually feel it's almost got that moist, damp, sort of tacky feeling to it, and you just feel early on, 11 AM start, there just might be something in it for the new ball. So, maybe slightly more even in terms of spin versus pace today. Preparation moisture quite evident, but it's passion against pedigree. This one will be enthralling."

Kushal Bhurtel and Aasif Sheikh are at the crease.

Kushal Bhurtel is on strike.

Akeal Hosein will open the attack

0.1

Akeal Hosein to Kushal Bhurtel, no run, flighted delivery on middle, Bhurtel gets forward in defence

0.5

Akeal Hosein to Kushal Bhurtel, out Bowled!! Hosein gets the first breakthrough. Hits the seam and cuts back into the right-hander. The new ball skidded on the surface and made it harder for Bhurtel, who was on his back foot.

Bhurtel b Akeal Hosein 1(3)

NEP2-1(0.5) CRR:2.4
