India's T20 captain after SA lost:

Fri, Feb 27, '26 at 8:14 AM

"We'll come back stronger."

Suryakuma Yadav had a clear roadmap in mind when he uttered his confident statement. I don't disagree with him. With matches against Zimbabwe and West Indies ahead of him, his team's ability to cross these hurdles couldn't come easier than this.

India has already eviscerated Zimbabwe. Let me hasten to add that West Indies did the same.

West Indies does not offer any serious opposition to India. We lack the bowling capabilities to stop any frontline T20 international team.

No cricket pundit will bet on West Indies winning a world cup qualifying match against India at this stage of the competition. It does not matter if we score 240 runs, we lack the bowling skills to restrict India's batsmen who know that they cannot exit the competition in front of their home crowd.

Gawn India!!!

You have the benefit of a weak West Indies bowling attack: the dimesions of a small ground; a more battle hardened team; the hunger to succeed and a Jasprit Bumrah who will bowl his 4 overs cheaply. That's the match right there...

West Indes can only dream of winning.

This is Discourtesy and I am being brutally honest.
