The point is not whether or not Otis is a good bowling or fastbowling coach. It is whether or not the appointment is justified.

a. Would the money be better spent on a batting consultant

b. is the appointment to further strengthen W.I.' strength the best strategic move right now.

c. Is Ravi in greater need of a consultant's help than either or both Sammy (as head coach) and Riefer?

d. Does W.I. have the money to spend on their area of strength...is this to improve and protect it?

e. Is this just a case of letting a "bredren" eat ah extra food?

Everything else are red herrings and mush.
