@imusic

Why is that a big deal? He is the most experienced and coming off a of a good tour of NZD, I agree he should be captain. This is the team:

Greaves C

Karima Gore

Mikyle Louis

Jeremiah Louis

Keacy Carty

Jewel Andrew

Jahmar hamilton

Kadeem Henry

Nathan Edward

Cornwall

Oshane Thomas

Daniel Doram

Notable omissions:

Carlon Bowen -Tuckett- wicketkeeper/bat. Jahmar is there but he could easily play as a batsman.

Kofi James batsman who can bowl offspin.

Don't remind me of that freeloader. Evin Lewis must be relishing that match-up.

Looking forward to Kelvin Pitman the young pacer.

Not sure why no Micah Mckenzie who is a better option than Doram.

In my opinion, Greaves maybe was given the captaincy on suggestion from the CWI, in order to see if he can handle the job, Chase place in the WI Test team is in question for non-performance. However the LWI team looks like a fair one, it is disappointing that Bowen-Tuckett was not selected, he might be the 3rd best gloves-man in the region. Also, Mckenzie cold have been included in place of Doram, Mckenzie need the exposure and experience.

Wish greaves well but he has to know these people got serious inferiority complex .if they lose it is going to be the bajan captains fault.

@voiceofreason

Please send Carlton home to his grandmother, Bim needs a wk -batsman like him.

@dayne

Yes you on to something with that WI Captaincy suggestion. That’s exactly it so where is Roston Chase ?

Thu, Apr 9, '26 at 1:32 PM

@tc1

Yes that was a big disappointment and hence why we need another team for those who can’t make their territorial teams. Hamilton is there for his experience and leadership and is still the best glove man in the Caribbean .

@voiceofreason

Shortsighted decision by WIs selectors just like Bim carrying a bunch of graybeards when the West Indian team is in need of young players. Are they going to get first class experience sitting at home now? We will continue to retread players like Chase, KB, Hamilton regionally etc.

In another two years which young players would've had 1st class experience under their belts? The said players above will be where? STILL PLAYING?

@tc1

Were you not saying otherwise about the Bim selectors carrying a bunch of the same.
