I have no problem with someone earning 50 grand good for her.
Few things to note.
The fact that this rogue meet allows performance-enhanced substances you are seen as tainted even if you didn't take anything.
Jumpy- elite athletes earn big bucks...endorsement, appearance fees and prize money. Bolt's appearance fee was minimum 200G.
Castle -know the sport. TaLou's time was because she hobbled home injured. 11.25 faster than 11.04, really??! Bro Ta-Lou is from Ivory Coast married to a Trini. SMH!!!

i agree. but bolt and his 4x100m posse are four people. i seriously doubt any trinidadian runner, including Ato made 250 grand at a single meet. the diamond league payout is 20,000 for the winner and as the athletes, possibly with the exceptions kishane, oblique, tebogo and lyles, are not very well known, at least among the men, i doubt their appearance fee is much higher than that. We may never know what their appearance fees are because T&F is so muddled and chaotic that people sometimes in the same training camp don't know what the other person is paid, unless of course they divulge it. but its highly unlikely people are paying 30 and 40 grand to see omanyala, or coleman, or bednarek. i'd be very surprised if those are the appearance fees they demand

The money to wear the sponsors' kit is the biggest source of revenue for athletes. As your ranking goes up so does that even for 3rd tier athletes it amounts to good earnings
