Man, those catching chances were so simple, I could've taken them even with 'reverse cup'. 😎

Kusal Mendis: I think, of course, we batted really well yesterday. Then Lahiru batted really well. I think he got a hundred, amazing hundred. Then another couple of guys batted really, Kamindu Mendis also batted really well. And today morning, me and Dinusha, we found it a little hard. Then the guys scored really well on one side of the field and attacked.
(How much further are you looking to go?) Very good score with 400 runs on the board. I think we have to put around 450 runs, or almost 500. I think it's a very good score on this pitch.
The players are out in the middle and we are ready for live action...

Jayden Seales to Kusal Mendis, 2 runs, 100-run stand up! Jayden Seales goes full outside off and Kusal Mendis square drives it through the off-side, and takes a couple of runs. Both the batsmen meet halfway down the pitch and hug each other

Jayden Seales to Kusal Mendis, FOUR, adventurous attempt. Shuffles across in the crease and goes for the scoop, gets a top edge that flies over the keeper. Hope charges back and goes for a catch, but fails to latch on to it. Good attempt to get there, but the finishing wasn't good enough. The bowler isn't happy once again

Alzarri Joseph to Kusal Mendis, SIX, Kusal Mendis brings up his fifty with a maximum! On a length around middle and leg, right into the slot, Kusal Mendis picks the line and length early and flicks it over deep square leg to get there. Raises his bat to acknowledge his teammates and the rare spectators in the stands
