Viv better against genuine pace (without a helmet) ....Lara probably better against spin...very difficult but because Viv handled pace better was just give him the edge!

Lara.
It is just a myth about Lara and pace. Compare how many centuries each scored against Australia. Lara may not have looked as composed as Viv but he has the runs in the bank so show that he was able to handle it. As for spin, I give Lara a very distinct edge although Viv was no slouch against spin. Lara's attack of spin was textbook classic stuff.
