West Indies were 147 for eight, chasing 218 in fading light at The Oval. The champagne was ready for England. Courtney Browne and Ian Bradshaw had other ideas.
With just two wickets remaining, the West Indies needed another 71 runs for victory in the 2004 Champions Trophy final. Shivnarine Chanderpaul had just been dismissed by Paul Collingwood. Andrew Flintoff, Steve Harmison and Darren Gough still had overs available. The sun was setting, and England were approaching their first global cricket title.
