This are a genuine questions
For how long before this match did Da Silva know he would open? Does the the team management identify him as having the temperament, technique and adequate preparation to open, considering of course the pitch conditions
I am still questioning Sammy's handling of Joshua Da Silva.
But, I am watching

Da Silva as shaping good.

He got a good ball

I like what I am seeing

Good balance

da silva is an excellent batsman. i maintain he is the best player of fast bowling in the region. his returns from brisbane compared to the 27 all out posse proves this

You are becoming redundant with this 27 all out, we got bowled out for 47, did you and other posted about it. Da Silva is not an excellent batsman, only a tit would classify him as such.

I agree that Silva is not an excellent batsman. However, no batsman can thrive at test level while having to continually look over his shoulder. Selector has to make up his mind whether Silva's dominance at regional level is worth giving him a run or is to be dismissed as being only a first class bully. If the latter, it ignores the runs that Silva also scored as A Team cappo in South Africa and Bangladesh as well his critical contributions in Brisbane and in Nottingham, the only test in England in which we were competitive in the last tour.

any bajan whose MEDIOCRE players get innumerable chances for being boy scouts has no room or rigght to talk. allyuh savior hope still averages under 30 and kraigg is the only batsman to play 100 tests and average under 35 as a specialist batsman
