Now I am begining to understand the Jim Jones cool-aid syndrome. It is al pervasive and leads the supposedly intelligent human specie to lose all intelligence and to change/adopt man as god.
Is this teh same as mass hypnotism?

As you see, I don't favour the "Sir" anyway.
Actually, he cannot accept "Sir" or "Lord" from anyone, T&T being a republic and he being one of us.
He already has our highest award, the Trinity Cross.
I guess we'll have to come up with a new, unique title and/or award to adequately honour him, since all rab, mab and scab have Trinity Cross, including at least 1 convicted criminal and several beauty queens.
You know what...no award or title could ever adequately honour DiBoss....he's above and beyond that.

In this case, Brian is just being used - Sheffield, having a foothold already in first Trinidad and now elsewhere, including Jamaica, wants a greater competitive edge in their Distance Education business. They understand that Caribbean people can be well, naive - So using a mixture of collaboration and niche marketing, Brian's name allows them to pretend to have a deep quality-focused Caribbean agenda and heart - A similar method used by St. George's.
While I dislike UWI much (and the WIBC), we must strive to ensure that our indigenous institutions and knowledge are not lost or overcome - In cricket, that means that Gus and Baptiste should have been appointed joint coaches and Roberts should have been made the permanent bowling coach.
Building what is indigenous means showing greater respect for what you have but being quick to change and adapt in response to new or emerging trends - like the lack of a four prong pace attack as a weapon of mass destruction. It also means understanding and working on weaknesses - such as batting against the moving ball (Stand and deliver and get hit on the toe). This requires belief in oneself, working together and thinking together.

Don't you think "and Saviour" stuck in their just after "Lord" would really paint the true picture?
Personally, I favour "LORD Dr. Brian Charles Lara"...it covers everything....thus far.
