I SING OF LITERATURE and the man, who came of old,a fated scholar and wanderer, from the regions of Flagstaff, to Roebuck Street, and the playing fields of the Lyceum called the School of Lord Combermere, in the dispensation of time, known as the 1940s in the year of Our Lord – Austin “Tom” Clarke, a valiant Combermerian.

his seminal work growing up stupid under the Union Jack ought to be required reading for you and all combermerians especially the ones who it is their wont to tell all and sundry that they are devoid of hubris and pomposity ....... oh the irony

if ah laugh ah pop ....... have a lovely day razz

i think his term was "dem Cawmere boys" when he used to write in the papers. was required reading for any Cawmerian and solidified our oneness.

but going school i hated him when he was the chairman of CBC. every bloody evening i wanted to watch Fraggle Rock or the Muppet Show, he on the TV interviewing someone or talking some cerebral nonsense. man used to get me vex as shoite until i learnt he was a Cawmerian

The Tom Clarke and Nigel Barrow days at CBC were very "interesting" times.

(pssst: It is Fraggle Rock not Frazzle. "The trash heap has spoken")

is Frof Barrow still alive. man could not win an election to save his life. was Tom Adams's right hand man tho. those were the bad ole days

Fraggle Rock?

You are not as old as I thought.

The stories of your divorces have been greatly exaggerated.

from the little of know of him he behaves like an ass. as such he may be a Cawmerian. as he does not care about how he is viewed but i hope he isnt because i have met him at certain functions and at first sight was displeased. he is short and shirty like a certain poster here.

i will have to enquire about his Cawmerianism but from the tribute i thought he was and it sounded as though he is.

Fraggle Rock wasnt recent, mate. but yes i have been divorced thrice. the first marriage lasted a while and produced 2 girls. the second and third were short lived and thankfully produced no kids. i am single at the moment and looking. no more marriages tho.

What's frustrating for you is interesting and perhaps even a bit glamorous for those of us on the outside looking in. That's why soap operas are so popular.

Mind you most of us would choose pondie's boring one pussy life for ourselves though while living vicariously through you. lol

Nowadays getting a divorce is like going on vacation. I would prefer at least one of mine to have lasted but that is life and it goes on. When it come to marrying thrice is enough for me. I have come to the conclusion that there is no woman good enough to enjoy my company.
