Worth a read

Interesting article for sure. Especially noting the murder of Black and Native Indians - which tends to "not count" for some of these folk that write headlines.

sadly though, this is the worst mass murder (shooting) by an individual. A stat I am not sure will last.

I've seen some headlines which add the qualifier "modern US history". I guess it still downplays the atrocities of prior centuries.

"by an individual" is the qualifier missing.

Yeah. Mind you I've seen some reports to suggest it wasn't 'just' him, but that could be the usual conspiracy theory people at work.

Although I didn't see the buzzwords "inside job" or "Illuminati" just yet.

lol Are you a believer in conspiracy theories and the illuminati?

you guys don't trivialize this stuff. Modern civilization was founded on the worst atrocities committed on non European populations.

talk about ethnic cleasing.

Please, I beg yuh... don't go there. America is fascinated with conspiracy as a means of not taking definitive ownership to a problem.

I beg uh please.

Nah, not me. But you know how it goes... people will come up with, or find, anything that supports or promotes their own narrative.

Fake moon landings, flat-earthers, the whole thang.

Read an article that says it is useless arguing with them and using facts etc Supposedly the part of the brain that triggers anger, feelings of being threatened etc is the same part that is activated when one disagrees with their thinking and try to rationalize with facts. Useless, as they will not get it.
