Samuels takes Sarwan's spot

Jamaican middle order batsman Marlon Samuels has been picked to replace the injured Ramnaresh Sarwan in the West Indies squad currently on tour in England.

Samuels has been picked in the 15-member squad for the remaining two Test matches against England, the WICB said in a belated announcement issued today.

The squad for the ODIs and 20/20 matches will be selected on Saturday, June 2, 2007.
