Chanderpaul sweeps major WIPA awards

Shiv Chanderpaul Guyanese left-hander Shivnarine Chanderpaul swept all the major prizes at the West Indies Players' Association (WIPA) cricket awards function on Sunday night.
 
The left-handed Guyanese was voted International Cricketer of the Year, Test Cricketer of the Year and One Day International Cricketer of the Year.
The First Class Cricketer of the Year award was won by Trinidad and Tobago's Daren Ganga, while Adrian Barath was named Emerging Cricketer of the Year, and Shamarh Brooks Under-19 Cricketer of the Year.
