Barbados rise to the top as T&T slip up

COUVA, Trinidad, CMC - Barbados have surpassed Trinidad and Tobago as leaders ahead of Friday’s fifth and final round of matches in the Regional Women’s Super-50 Tournament underway in Couva Trinidad.

Barbados demolished North Windwards by 181 runs at Macaulay Park to move to the top of the table while Trinidad and Tobago relinquished their lead after losing to Jamaica by 19 runs at The National Cricket Centre in fourth round action on Wednesday.

Meantime, at Gilbert Park, South Windward defeated Guyana by seven wickets to register their first win of the tournament.
