CCC through to finals; T&T fight uphill battle

Combined Campuses and Colleges stormed into the WICB Regional Four Day competition final yesterday with a 'stunning victory' over the Windward Islands. The Windwards were bowled out for 128 before the close of play on the third day, as Ryan Austin and Kavesh Kantasingh took five and four wickets respectively.

Meanwhile, in what the Trinidad Express describes as "Mission Impossible", Trinidad and Tobago battle to reach Jamaica's first innings total of 664. At close of play they were 198 for 4. It appears that under the competition rules if there is no result in this game and no first innings points are gained, Jamaica will go through to the final on the basis on head-to-head results earlier in the competition.
