The Caribbean Media Corporation (CMC) will be carrying live televised coverage of the semis and finals of this year's Red Stripe Bowl competition as part of a contract with the West Indies Cricket Board (WICB).

In a published report, CMC says it will produce and distribute the international feed of the Red Stripe Bowl semis on October 16 and 17, and the final on October 19. CMC and Television Jamaica (TVJ) will collaborate on the production - for the second year in a row - on the three games at the Kaiser Sports Club on Jamaica's north coast.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

For the Red Stripe Bowl's "Final Four series", CMC's commentary panel will include Tony Cozier, Donna Symmonds, Simon Crosskill, Ian Bishop, Cardigan Connor and Hendy Wallace for the television broadcast.

The Barbados-based CMC says it will also present live radio coverage of the two semi-finals and the final, with a commentary panel that includes Crosskill, Jack Matthew, Inderjeet Persaud, Maurice Foster, and Franklyn Stephenson.

Regular CMC commentators Fazeer Mohammed and Sean Devers are conspicuously absent from the panel.

CMC says TV coverage will be available in Anguilla, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Bermuda, Cayman Islands, Grenada, Dominica, Guyana, St. Lucia, St. Kitts and Nevis, St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG), Turks & Caicos Islands, British Virgin Islands, US Virgin Islands, St. Maarten, Montserrat, Trinidad and Tobago and Jamaica.

For radio, Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, Jamaica, Grenada, Guyana, and SVG have been confirmed to receive coverage, the company said.
