Hooper Sacked; Aussie to Coach Windies

BREAKING NEWS:
The West Indies Cricbet Board (WICB) has sacked Carl Hooper as captain for the upcoming Australia and New Zealand home tours and given the captaincy to champion batsman Brian Lara.
The board's bombshell announcement also included news that Australian academy coach Bennett King had been chosen to replace Roger Harper as team coach. Incumbent manager Ricky Skerritt has been retained while the WICB promoted Ramnaresh Sarwan to serve as Lara's deputy. The board also announced Gus Logie would serve as assistant coach.
Bennett King will not be available for the upcoming series against Australia and Sri lanka, meaning Logie would be the coach in the interim.
