First thing people will say is if he doesnt get pick for Jamaica 50 over squad how he can make WI?
True but im asking about his potential and ability...Would his style of bowling make it in ODI cricket?
Especially against a team like Bangladesh???
Some argue that he will be figured out?
He mix up his pace and varies his length when bowling and is quite clever.
Just wondering about peoples thoughts.

Santokie not good enough to play ODI??
In reply to Cricket_PHD
He is decent enough to have a run...the question is who will he replace?
In reply to Cricket_PHD Some players were built for T20 only. Santokie fits that bill precisely.

Is that because he failed at 50 over cricket already?
If not how would you know?
In reply to Cricket_PHD Because I have watched him enough to see that he is no great wicket-taking threat to batsmen if they don't have go after him for 8 an over. He has no pace and does not do much with the ball after it's a couple overs old, at least not until it starts to reverse, so it's unlikely he would ever get in 10 overs. If he had some batting ability maybe he would make the grade but without that....
In reply to Cricket_PHD The left arm pacer you should be rooting for is Cotterel.

Life is a lot less predictable than that...Sammy and Bravo for instance, don't really strike you as capable of take lots of wickets...yet sometimes they have in ODI games..
In reply to hotarobinAgreed but check my first post.... neither would be selected for their bowling alone.
