Do most WI cricketers have agents?

Especially the youngsters.

Say a player is offered a retainer or any other type of contract? Who vets the contents? Is it vetted? Should it be vetted?

How are the players represented? Do they broker their deals themselves? Ask family or a friend to help? Does the WIPA provide this service or at least advice/ counseling on it?

I saw Hetmeyer's lucrative sponsorship deal thread and wondered about it. While the sponsors may be entirely above board and genuine, I wondered what was to stop an unscrupulous character from doing the same? Suppose Marlon's Mukesh decide to sponsor a player. What's to stop that from happening? Should it be stopped? (I certainly believe so given that Marlon's Mukesh is a known bookie)

I would assume that the retainer is a standard contract negotiated between WIPA and WICB
,standard here meaning that the language is the same for all the players.Side agreements probably come through some agency agreement.

Brian Lara is still represented by two or three very big agents, for different businesses. A couple of them are based in the UK and are among the best in sports.

Darren Sammy, Dwayne Bravo and Kieran Powell have UK based agents too.

I am sure Shivnarine Chanderpaul, Chris Gayle and Kieron Pollard have someone as well.

The others, I'm not sure. But then, are they potentially big business options for agents too?

... 1. Does this bookie live in India?
2. if answer to 1. is yes, why is he not/was not arrested?

I think that would/should have been the first order of the Marlon fiasco. Hence, why I felt Marlon got a raw deal.

Not only Marlon's Murkish. What if the other Murkish,Murkish Gupta that is, decides to call up his former match fixing partner Brian Lara and ask him to renew their match fixing partnership, should that not be monitored carefully?

Brian Lara was convicted of match fixing, spot fixing, or related offence? Please provide your source.
