Ebola Doctors: Liberia lost, no more volunteers

ToldUSo 2014-10-02 10:27:01

Well with 5 new Ebola patients every hour in Liberia, Doctors without Borders have given up on fighting Liberia, they are now refusing volunteers to fight the virus. Now all that left in Liberia is mass graves being prepared.

I look at the photo and think of why the US or other Western nations don't send in backhoes, why are these grave diggers having to use shovels and why the hell is Obama sending troops to the region, what the hell can they do.

The title of that report is misleading as in that same report this is said.

But enough physicians have come forward that Doctors Without Borders, the nonprofit that has been leading the charge in combating the outbreak, recently announced that it no longer needs any more volunteers

I agree that the authorities haven't acted swiftly enough but if Doctors without borders saw this as a lost cause why would they now say that they have enough volunteers ?

Your thread title also gives the indication that people are refusing to be volunteers which is not the case as per the report.

Don't focus on me for I didn't write this, focus on the article, I didn't say it, the article in the Headlines states this. If you choose to take issue with the article, it is your right to do so and I will support you on any valid points you make here.

Here is the headline again, read the article and this is not the first article to advance this conclusion, there are many other:
