I will remember dat.
Michael Jordan was on the side of the NBA players in the lockout of 1998. In 2011, as an owner, he was on the opposite side.

You're right, they instead decided to holdup in London refusing to go on to Saffie land.
It took the intervention of Mandela offering to fly to London to mediate, I believe. It was definitely not our finest hour as that tour was organised as part of the celebration of Mandela and Saffie.
Looking back on the career of the great one, he was inolved in his fair share of skirmishes, along with his bb at the time, he got so worked up in one particular instance that the President of the WICBC at the time asked him and his bb, to go see Mike Brearley, (hope I spell de man name right)talk it out with him, get counsel, and his greatness told the Pres.....I ent mad.........the other party took the advice though.........I guess looking back on all those incidents and coming to this point, he could pass judgement, even saying to himself.....looking back I could have done it differently...........did someone used the word mature..........Windies cricket......never a dull moment...
