Youngsters will have to step up - Hetmyer and Lil Shiv, with probably Vishaul Singh.

Lets drop him after this match so his average stays above 100.00. As matter of fact he shouldn't have to bat in the second innings to ensure his passage to South Africa!
Almost caught at 2nd slip off Liam Sebastien's off-spin. On 104.
Can't believe the Windwards place a man right under Shiv's bat, at forward short leg.
Shiv almost killed him with a sweep off lg-spinner Bobb!

Deo can get some serious brownie points by leading from de front in their absence.

Deo look like very different player this year...two tons and I did not see a slog sweep as yet!
In reply to WestDem
He had two tons last year at the start of the season too ... around his waist!

This is what the Regional tournaments are all about - batsment who want to get into the Test team must make runs on a CONSISTENT basis... grow as they play more - coaches should be able to recognise and correct technical errors. Mentally you will improve as you spend time in the middle...
Likewise bowlers need to constantly work on their techniques etc... by the time you hit the TEST areana there should not be issues with no-balls, wides etc... you should be able to hit a spot on the ptich with your eyes CLOSED!!!!
Anyhow - good ton by Nars...

Shiv playing for the "not out" again. Stuck on 45 for the longest while.
In reply to WestDem
looks discipline in his approach.
So close to lunch Deo needs to calm down
In reply to Norm
Shiv say when he batting all he concerned about is not getting out and playing each ball on merit. If it looks thin e go block if it fat he go gyam pan am.
Congrats. Back to back.
Make this a big one

Correct is right.
Shiv preparing for a tough test series ahead.
At the same time he is encouraging Deo .
Deo should have been a permanent in the WI team by now....flatters to deceive too often....he does the hard work to make the WI team...then it seems he relaxes...and inevitably loses his place.
Deo has the edge over many other batsmen playing for a place in the WI team in that he is more than a useful test spinner...he takes wickets.
CONGRATS DEO....go for the double !!!
It's never too late! Had a busy day, so im now in d rum shop! Sexy bartendress - b a good girl give me an ice cold coors lite, ok?!! Now, lets see....yes, 3 cheers fuh ND - d bwoy can bat! In reply to Narper
Hope these 2 early tons do not go to his head. And he continues in this way throughout the competition.
In reply to Runs
Looks like he takes the same approach with women.
