So I guess they couldn't find someone whose bowling is penetrative and is actually under 30!
Didn't the selectors claim some sort of 'youth movement' for the composition of the WC squad. I hold no brief for either Bravo or Pollard but it is worth pointing out that Miller is older than both!!!
Seems the WICB and its lackeys are still being a bit careless with the truth!!

Bravo's record is bad. So they are selecting youngsters with promise or seniors with better record

I don't think Putin is the best replacement but I'm happy that he gets to eat a food He has toiled diligently year in year out and dominated dung heap with little to show for it financially..

Tell that to Lloyd and his cronies when they tell us they are "looking to the future"!

Is the selection of Putin a deliberate attempt to weaken Jamaica's 4-Day Team?

I thought he was always going to replace Narine, not only for his bowling, but his batting and fielding could compare with many.

Ahhh... but of course you know that looking to the future means more than one thing; in other words not only age.
Does discipline come to mind?

Sure!
I am glad for Miller that he will make a little money but the selection does not make sense in light of Lloyd's rationalization of the composition of the squad.
I am not clear how going for another retread is looking to the future
Surely they could have found a younger disciplinedplayer to groom for the future.

Situation warrant changes - Big up Miller!
Miller is a disciplined fellow, shows leadership potential, and a team player!
I buy that over showboating!
Don't bite the hand that feeds you - should be the players mantra!
