The reason so many don't know this aspect of Einstein's contributions in this area is precisely because of the Red Scare associated with the text in bold.

This and plenty other important multiracial cooperative works were similarly lost or forgotten for the same reason. And perhaps even more important to this board, the contribution of AfroCaribbean folk to left-wing organizations like the one featured here was immense and indispensable. Hubert H. Harrison from St. kitts, Cyril Briggs of Nevis, WA Domingo of Jamaica, Otto Huiswould of Guyana, Richard B. Moore of Barbados are but a few of an incredible cadre of radical West Indians who would have interacted with and led Einstein to these conclusions...

You are so offbase its sad.

It is critically important to equally establish that there were many white people who objected to the vile treatment of black people and indeed who spoke to it.

The thing about racism is that it affects all parties. The demonising of all 'whites' as part of an oppressive group is as bad as the marginalisation of all blacks.

This is just further proof that it took a concerted effort to sustain the impression that everyone was fine and dandy with the status quo even when they were not.

And knowing this is GOOD.

Here is chapter 5 of that James book, Khary. Even just the first two pages seem to support that West Indians punched above their weight in progressive thinking and radical organisations. Seems like the full book makes a real contribution to some of our recent history and would be a great addition to one's library. Thanks for sharing.

And in my limited forays into Caribbean society, very little of this overall impact is remembered generally.

Human beings rejecting racialization and the laws which uphold race and its stigma marched. A few of them were of European ethnicity, but most were of African and American ethnicities.

But here's the deal. The very labels themselves (white & black) are primary evidences of the crime against humanity, so why would a "White" people, originating from various stocks of economically disadvantaged European tribes, voluntarily throw away a title that has done them so well, in a financial sense? Those invested in their "whiteness" would never have marched. This is why I say human beings did. People who placed humanity and fairness above so-called race marched. Einstein was one such person.
