Series is catered to the English tourists and TV audience. Local presence is not the focus. Thus the schedule...

Not available on Monday to Friday, some of us work for a living.

You are correct, but then we can't complain when 12 people show up for the match. The English do not schedule their matches to suit the needs of West Indians, so why then does the WICBC SCHEDULE GAMES FOR BRITISH TASTE?

ECB is cash rich and will not have to heed to every request of the visitor. WI has only 2 very profitable tours (England and India). Given this situation they have no other choice.

There is a Test Match on Monday , It is in
Barbados ; The WICB VS CARICOM . Perhaps
both sides are likely to sit down and
eat Fine Food & Wine at some fancy Hotel in
Bim ; Compliment each other , and then go home .

Since it is very likely that the WICB will
want Public Money ; to pay for its
RECKLESS behaviour . The General Public
should be in attendance at this Cricket Match , without having to pay an entrance
Fee .

The message from CARICOM to the waste heap that is the WICB should be no money, not a single cent- let the WICB go bankrupt, it will be the opening that is needed to replace the current governance system with a new paradigm.

TheTrail 2015-04-19 21:48:36

CARICOM: Don't give him a cent.

If the WI (WICB) cease to exist tomorrow, life will go on without it.

CARICOM needs WICB, too much tourism loss if no cricket. That's why they can't do much to hush WICB. Some countries get the tv duty free concession just to get the match so that the country can get free advertisement.

I totally agree with you . The problem with
the Players could have been solved , but
the people in the governance of Cricket in the Region love to display their Individual
& collective Arrogance .

Nothing matters to the Emperors , not even
if their actions placed the BCCI in Financial straits . They never ever considered that .

They are accountable to no ONE , so let no One help them in their current situation
with the BCCI . It is that simple .

Interestingly , the International Cricket Cabal , says that Governments must not intervene , in Cricket . That being the case , those in the governance of Cricket in the Region must seek financial assistance from the ICC . Definitely not the Regional Governments .

If the Members of CARICOM , fail to ask
about the failure of the WICB to implement the changes suggested by the Patterson
Report . It would mean that they like the
People in the Media are not only Allies of the WICB , they are willing participants
in the Demise of Cricket in the Region .
