What a difference a half century makes! Almost five decades ago when I played my cricket on that ground we had to contend with a plastic compound ball on a concrete pitch!

Good away championship win by Guyana. A few good youngsters in the Guyana team:
Shimron Hetmyer (opener, part-time wkpr),
Keemo Paul (fast bowler all-rounder),
Ronaldo Ali-Mohamed (all-rounder),
Sherfane Rutherford (all-rounder).

Sherfane is quicker than Keemo... Guyana got some really talented youngsters coming up.. We need some proper coaches though..
De current academy is ah waste of time.. it's either gym or running around national park everyday.. the other day ah player went telling me.. De man told Grifith he got ah problem batting against swing bowling.. how he could sort it out.. Griffith turn n tell de man it suppose to be easier to bat and done with him..

I doubt it...the biggest six I've seen in my life was on that said concrete pitch by a big belly vice principal named Fathead(RIP) off a medium pacer(Tracy) Oral Tracy's brother...I don't think the ball has come back down to earth yet...
